Just paste any dead link into their search engine an you may get lucky and get a hit! I was able to view some of her now defunct web page by using the wayback machine. Now when you go to the Wizard tab you should see your newly customized wizard. You might notice that in post #38 Anata has posted a link to her own webpage on custom portraits but that link is now a dead link. Find the JPG image file that you created and click Open.ĥ) Make whatever changes are necessary for the wizard, including description, name, gender, etc.Ħ) Press OK, and OK again. Quoted from Anata: posted 08-03-03 02:17 PM EDT (US)Ģ) Click on Players and Select Player (Player 1, 2, 3.)ģ) Press the Change button and select a different portrait (this step is needed to start the customization process), then click OK.Ĥ) Press the Customize button and click on Browse. Select your custom portrait and voila. Also, here is an excerpt taken from post #34 on making custom wizards. In the editor, you click the "New Hero" or "Edit Hero" tab and then the "Browse" button, and go from there into the User directory. Now save this file by some other name in the User directory so you still have the CustomHero template to refer to in the future. Make sure that it's 180 x 220, copy it, and paste it on top of the image(s) in CustomHero. In a separate window of your graphics application, open your custom image. You will see an image of Mab with the image dimensions printed on top of it (180 x 220 pixels). Open your graphics application, and from within that open CustomHero. The templates are the CustomWizard and CustomHero jpegs in your User directory. Quoted from Luticus: posted 08-01-03 09:53 PM EDT (US) Here is an excerpt taken from post #12 that I think might help to point you in the right direction for making custom heroes. I have not ever tried to do this on my own.so someone else may be able to offer better advice. I did some searching on several of the forum pages and I have found a post on how to make custom portraits that I believe may be helpful at this link.
